{ Developmental/Cognitive Disabilities or Special Needs }

We believe it's important to help individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities or special needs to understand the Bible.

The Adult Friendship Bible Class is designed for adults and teens who have developmental or cognitive disabilities or other special learning needs to learn the Word of God. Offering Bible lessons, singing, prayer, drama, crafts, and other activities in a friendly and compassionate setting. Classes meet in room B231 throughout the school year during the 11:00am Sunday service.

School Age Children
Children with special needs that attend Sunday School are matched up with a buddy (teen or adult helper) and integrated into Sunday School classes whenever possible.

Assisting people with hearing impairments to hear the Word of God. Walkman radios are available at the Information Centers for use during services to amplify the service through 89.3 FM. Captioning/CART is available at 9:30 am Sunday service in section 12 of the auditorium. For more information, please contact Carma Bowerman at 262.796.5739.

Our goal is to make Elmbrook Church physically accessible to everyone. Automatic doors at all outside entrances and auditorium entrances. Multiple elevators. Unisex bathrooms at the upper and lower, east and west sides of the auditorium for those that need assistance. Wheelchair accessible auditorium on both levels.

Providing assistance to bring the Word of God to people who are blind or have low vision skills. Large print Bibles, hymnals, and bulletins are available during weekend services at the usher stands.
Through the Elmbrook Church Resource Library portions of the Bible in Braille, the Bible on cassette and CD and large print fiction and non-fiction books.
