Mission Apprenticeship Program
Do you have a heart for our broken world? Our mission team is passionate about encouraging people to be released to the mission of Jesus.
The mission apprenticeship program is designed to connect young people to cross-cultural, often international, environments where they can seek vocational clarity.
Our desire is to see each individual learn to use his or her gifts to serve others, living and loving like Jesus. Apprentices may work with Elmbrook partner organizations, or alongside Elmbrook-supported missionaries, around the world or right here in the Milwaukee area.
Who is eligible to participate?
- Young adults who are well-connected at Elmbrook and have served and used their natural talents and spiritual gifts in ministry within the church or in the community that Elmbrook serves.
- College students, ages 18 and up, are eligible for summer opportunities of 2-3 months.
- Young adults with a bachelor's degree are eligible for longer-term experiences.
Where are these opportunities?
Applicants are currently pursuing opportunities in the local Milwaukee area as well as Guatemala, Germany, Japan, Thailand and India.
Is there a cost associated with these opportunities?
The Elmbrook mission department is committed to making these opportunities financially feasible by partially supporting approved candidates. Remaining support is raised by the individual.
