Join us on Christmas Eve!

Candles. Decorations. Glowing angels and beaming stars - Christmas just isn’t Christmas without the lights. This December, Elmbrook’s worship will be illuminated by the story of a new kind of Light dawning. It was a Light long foretold, a Light that provided hope for people who had long walked in shadow and darkness. This Light had been prophesied from ancient days, was witnessed by the world, and transformed history with grace and goodness. The Light drew travelers from far and near, bringing comfort and joy to a weary world. And if you’ll give this Light a chance, your life can reflect wonder and gladness, too. Join in celebrating the breaking of a new and glorious morn with us all month long!

Volunteer at Christmas

Attend one service, volunteer at another! We need many volunteers to welcome our visitors to Christmas Eve services at Elmbrook Church. We have opportunities for individuals, families, and groups.

Advent Devotional

The days leading up to Christmas present us with an extraordinary opportunity to know Jesus Christ - who called himself the way, the truth, and the life - more deeply. To help prepare our hearts and minds for this special time of year, a daily devotional will be made available beginning on December 3 and concluding on Christmas Day. Several Elmbrook staff members will explore themes like waiting, glory, king, prophet, angel, magi, and Emmanel through short videos. God bless you as you draw closer to Christ this year.

To view the daily devotional videos, follow Elmbrook on Facebook or Instagram!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have programs for kids?

Programming will only be available during the 9am service, and only for kids K3 and under. Ask any volunteer for directions to the nursery area. Kids and students K4 and above are welcome to join their families in services.

All Christmas Eve worship services are designed to be family-friendly, including a segment just for kids, and activity sheets are available for kids if you'd like one.

Will we light candles at all services?

Yes! It wouldn't be Christmas without "Silent Night" and thousands of candles lighting up the Worship Center.

What should I wear?

From jeans to suits, we have it all. Be relaxed or dress up — we'll be happy to see you. If you'd like to wear your "Christmas best" and take a family photo, there are spaces for that, too!
