On the Road to Emmaus:
A five-part study on the passion, crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord Jesus - taught by William Marris. Meets virtually through Zoom.

To help prepare ourselves during this season of Lent, we will consider the story of Christ's death and resurrection by carefully comparing the Gospel narrative with the Messianic prophecies of the Old Testament. We will consider the historical, cultural, and religious context of the time and by Looking through "Jewish Eyes" discover how the passion of our Lord Jesus was symbolized and pre-rehearsed by Old Testament Jewish ritual. Finally, we will attempt to harmonize the four Gospels in the fervent belief that all Scripture is the perfect and inerrant Word of God.
