YWAM | Sunshine Coast, Australia
The Giuntas are currently serving with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. They serve as the ministry coordinators of the Discipleship Training School (DTS) which is YWAM’s foundational training course, seeking to draw students into a deeper relationship with God and release them into missional lives. Students engage in three months of lectures on a wide variety of topics oriented towards intimacy with God and mission. Following these three months, the students experience a two month, cross-cultural outreach to share the message of love that they experienced in their own lives. Samuel and Karis’ roles include oversight of staff training and care, DTS students and courses, and outreach locations and focus.
- Pray we would continue to pursue God above anything else, choose humility and vulnerability in a role of leadership, and proceed to grow a strong foundation in our marriage.
- Pray those students who choose to come to our base would powerfully encounter Christ’s love for them and boldly choose a life of obedience, adventure, and intimacy with God.
- Pray that all the young individuals who come to our base and we would feel the call and burden of the gospel, and commit to living a life on mission.
