*Please note: The June Food & Supply Collection will take place at the Brookfield campus only.
To care for our community during this time, we recognize the increased need for tangible support of our local food pantries and homeless shelters. Many of you have asked, "how can we help?" Our response is to host a drive up food and emergency supply collection. We have put in place some safety protocols to benefit everyone.
Here's how it works:
On Saturday, June 6, between 10am-1pm, fill up a bag with shelf-stable food or emergency supplies. Drive over to the Brookfield campus and drop your donation in the designated bins. Our staff and volunteers will wave at you from a distance! Once we have collected the donations, we will deliver them to our partner organizations. Will you consider joining us for this effort to love our community?

Something extra this month:
One of the groups experiencing loss as a result of the global pandemic is graduating high school seniors. Elmbrook has decided to come alongside the 2020 graduating class of Waukesha South High School and add some excitement to their drive-thru graduation on Tuesday, June 9. In addition to preparing your food donation for the month of June, the Mission and Mobilization Department is asking that you intentionally purchase a graduation card for a Waukesha South Senior and write a kind note to them, wishing them God’s blessing as they go out into the next chapter of their life. You may want to include a scripture verse or a word of encouragement. Please also include a $10 gift card to a local business (a custard stand, a local restaurant, gas card, etc.) We need to collect almost 300 of these cards. Drop them off during the food collection between 10am-1pm on Saturday, June 6 at the Brookfield campus. In this way, we hope to be a source of love and life to a whole class of graduating seniors while also supporting our local businesses.
