Spiritual Formation is a term often used in Christian circles but more often misunderstood. It poses the deep question of the soul, what it is, and how I care for it. In this weekend intensive, we will look at the dynamics involved in soul care, and what spiritual formation means and the longings that our hearts have before God. As part of that exploration, we will look at the role of silence and solitude in the pursuit of intimacy with God. Lastly, we will discuss how prayer does not start with words but with encounter, a response to the intercession of the Spirit, and as communion with the Trinity.
