Harvestfest 2016

Harvestfest 2016

Saturday, October 22, 2016 - Sunday, October 30, 2016

Harvestfest is the "must-attend" mission event of our church each year. It's our annual opportunity to hear firsthand as a congregation the incredible stories of God at work — the kind of stories that won't be posted on Facebook or YouTube, or broadcast on CNN. During services two consecutive weekends, plus evening sessions during the week, we gather together to CELEBRATE stories of good news and life change, to EDUCATE ourselves on the current realities in our world today, and to MOTIVATE each other to be part of the change our world so desperately needs.

Elmbrook missionaries, international guests, and local partner organizations share their stories and invite us to join with them through involvement, prayers, and Faith Promise – our financial commitment towards the work of local and global mission.

Special Harvestfest services will be held at both Brookfield and Lake Country campuses the weekends of October 22/23 and October 29/30. Join us Monday through Wednesday evenings at Brookfield for workshops, keynote speaker sessions, dinner, prayer activities, and special Harvestfest Kids sessions.

Prepare to have your mind, heart and world view challenged!

Featured Speakers

Anthony Delaney

After serving as a police officer for 10 years, Anthony went into church leadership in 1995 and now leads Ivy Church, a movement gathering in community centers, cinemas, a nightclub, a warehouse and a church building. His teaching is broadcast across the UK and Europe weekly and is featured regularly on national BBC Radio. Ivy Church supports missions worldwide, giving more than 25% of its income annually to mission. Anthony travels widely internationally. He also leads NewThing Europe which, as part of NewThing Global, aims to train and deploy apostolic leaders and church planters across the globe with the goal of planting 10,000 new reproducing churches. Anthony and his wife, Zoe, have three adult children and three grandsons.

Allan Matamoros

Allan has a deep passion to share the gospel, especially among Muslims. Born and raised in Costa Rica, Allan has spent the last 25 years living in the Muslim world leading Latin American missionary agencies to deploy church planting and holistic missional teams. Allan recently became the Middle East & North Africa Director for PARTNERS International, a ministry devoted to working alongside local and national ministries among unreached and under-resourced nations. As a keynote speaker at URBANA 2015, Allan challenged thousands of young people to reach out with the light of Christ to the increasing number of internationals that are joining our communities. Allan, his wife, Patricia, and their two teenagers currently live in the Middle East.
