In this year marked by separation, uncertainty, and anxiety, we need HOPE. We need Jesus, Immanuel, God with us. Together, let us celebrate the birth of our Savior. He came to bring counsel to the confused, strength for the weak, family for the lonely, peace for the troubled. HOPE has a name, and his name is Jesus.
All services include classic carols, a special Christmas story, a holiday message, and our traditional singing of "Silent Night".
There are dozens of names for God in the Bible. Throughout the Advent season, we'll explore four names of God in weekend services leading up to Christmas. Each name of God reveals more of His character to us. What better way could we celebrate Jesus’s arrival as a baby in a manger than by getting to know the God who sent him!
This year, receive an Elmbrook Names of God Advent calendar to hang in your home! The calendar includes 25 cards for exploring different names through a Bible verse, mini devotional & prayer, and activity idea each day of December. We'll mail you a kit with a ready-to-hang advent calendar in a storage box, hot cocoa, and some fun activity sheets! Or click for a digital download of the calendar to print on your own.
December is the perfect time to invite loved ones to join you for an event or service. Who will you invite to join you for Christmas at Elmbrook this year? Printed Advent calendars are available this year. Sign up to receive one for yourself and an extra for a friend or family member, and invite them to join you at Elmbrook during Advent or for Christmas Eve services!
Attend one service, volunteer at another! We need lots of volunteers to welcome our visitors to Christmas Eve services at Elmbrook Church. Please consider serving during one of our services. We have opportunities for individuals, couples, families, and Life Groups. Browse the options below:
During all services we have a special "birthday party for Jesus" just for children birth through K5, to present the Christmas story in a special way they understand.
Bring your children to the First-Time Family Check-In desk, or ask for directions at an Information Center. Be sure to ask for a Christmas coloring book and crayons as you head into service for children above K5!
It wouldn't be Christmas without "Silent Night" and thousands of candles lighting up the worship center. That said, this year's candles will be a tad different as we aim to provide a safe environment for all to worship this Christmas.
