CMDA
Doug serves with the Christian Medical & Dental Associations as the Director of the Center for Advancing Healthcare Missions (CAHM). Living missionally as healthcare professionals can happen in our backyard or halfway across the world, but it doesn’t happen by accident. Doug’s heart is to help encourage, mobilize, and equip the over 13,000 students, trainees, and graduate members of CMDA to intentionally live fully surrendered to Jesus and His Kingdom, regardless of where they’re serving. This consists of planning and hosting conferences, speaking to students, administering scholarships, working with sending agencies to promote best practices, and supporting the well-being of missionaries.
- Please pray that God would raise up workers for the harvest and that CMDA will effectively mobilize and care for healthcare missionaries.
- Pray for Spirit-led discipleship of young people who have been called into healthcare missions but often have years of training remaining prior to deployment to the field.
- Pray for effective strategic networking with sending agencies to catalyze partnerships and best practices in healthcare missions.
