Celebrated at the end of the eighth-grade year, the Ascent serves as a "base camp" of sorts and is an opportunity for students to pause halfway up their personal journey of adolescence. Students look back on how far they have come and anticipate the tricky paths before them, all to prepare for an ascent worth climbing.

The event will take place at Lapham Peak State Park, from 12:30- 2:30pm.
