About the Event
BrookfieldLake CountryStudents
This summer, we’re heading to Duluth, MN, where our middle and high school students will partner with local organizations to serve neighborhoods, assist with children’s programming, care for the elderly, and support food pantries as communities’ needs allow. We will stay with Youthworks in Duluth, receiving all meals, and be equipped with service project materials and guided by community hosts. In the mornings and afternoons, they’ll roll up their sleeves—weed gardens, sort donations, help maintain housing, and walk alongside ministry partners doing neighborhood outreach. Evenings will include reflection times, local outings, and relational connections so students can internalize what mission looks like in practice. Through serving and story-listening, they’ll wrestle with how faith and service intersect and leave with renewed passion for everyday mission beyond the week together
