Are you seeking growth in your spiritual life? This new course will help participants move toward deep transformation in Jesus, be more Christ-like, and be a light to a broken world.
"Emotionally Healthy Spirituality" author, Pete Scazzero, learned the hard way: you cannot be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. Scazzero outlines the top ten symptoms of emotionally unhealthy spirituality in this course while unpacking core Biblical principles that guide an experience of lasting, beneath-the-surface transformation in a relationship with Christ. Throughout the class, h e offers a road map for a discipleship with Jesus that is powerfully transformative, including topics such as: how to identify emotionally unhealthy spirituality, how to grow your soul through grief and loss, and how to develop into an emotionally mature adult.
The class will utilize the "Emotionally Healthy Spirituality" book, video teachings, a devotional, and a workbook. Three books total are required: "Emotionally Healthy Spirituality", Day by Day devotional and a corresponding workbook. All three books can be purchased at the Elmbrook Bookstore.
