African Strategic Discipleship Movement | Africa
Esayas is the director of the African Strategic Discipleship Movement (ASDM), which envisions enabling pastors and church leaders in every African country to effectively make disciples who are growing in maturity and making other disciples in their families, local churches, denominations, communities, and the world. ASDM is an intentional, relational, transformational, missional, and reproducible approach that focuses on the disciple maker's personal life, family, local church, and team of cohorts for extending disciple-making to other churches and regions. ASDM focuses on certain practices like disciplined daily devotion, personal mentoring, skills training, and practical mission outreach. ASDM is in 33 African countries and is hoping to reach all 54 of them by 2027.
- ASDM is heading to Asia and the Middle East. Pray for God to move through North Africa toward the Middle East.
- Another new venture for ASDM is heading into mainstream youth and women's ministries. Pray for fertile ground and good acceptance by the church leaders as we initiate these ministries.
- Pray for the regional leaders' development initiative, as we just recently began to multiply ASDM leadership.
